VIVIAN UCHECHI OGU (1995-2009)
Vivian Ogu was born in Benin City on the 1st of April, 1995. She was a parishioner of St Paul Catholic Church, Benin City and served as the President of the Holy Childhood Association, the Choirmistress of the Children Choir and a member of Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Parish. She organise campaign for charity to the orphans, the poor and the sick. She inspired many youths and children to a life of holiness, purity and virginity. On the 15th of November, 2009, she was killed in Benin City by armed robbers for refusing to be sexually defiled. It is with delight we join the universal church this month of October, 2019. To celebrate the heroic example of the faith of Vivian Ogu as one of the twenty five great witnesses of the Christian Faith as carefully selected by the Holy see.
